Applies To: All users accessing or using the Marula LLC website and affiliated telehealth services administered through Marula Rehab

 

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this website or any services provided by Marula LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.

 

2. Telehealth Services

Marula LLC administers telehealth-based behavioral health services through Marula Rehab, including but not limited to:

 

  • Intake assessments
  • Educational instruction
  • Relapse recovery support

 

Substance use disorder and alcohol dependency treatment

These services are provided remotely and are not intended for emergency care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

 

3. Jurisdiction & Governing Law

Marula LLC operates under the laws of the State of Utah. All disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved under Utah law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Venue for any legal action shall be in the appropriate state or federal court located in Utah.

 

4. Provider Licensure & Scope

Telehealth services are provided by licensed professionals. You will only be treated by providers licensed in the State of Utah. Marula LLC does not provide services outside the State of Utah. 

 

5. HIPAA & Data Protection

We comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and all applicable federal and state privacy laws. All Protected Health Information (PHI) is encrypted and stored securely. See ourHIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices for details.

 

6.  Consent to Telehealth

By using our services, you consent to receive care via telehealth. You acknowledge the limitations of virtual care and agree that telehealth may not be appropriate for all conditions. You may withdraw consent at any time by discontinuing use of the service.

 

7. Online Prescribing

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) may be offered through referral to your primary care provider. Marula LLC does not directly prescribe medications. All prescribing complies with the Ryan Haight Online Pharmacy Consumer Protection Act and DEA regulations as updated in 2025.

 

8. Payment & Sliding Scale

Marula LLC offers a sliding scale fee structure and may assist with Medicaid enrollment. Payment terms are disclosed during intake. Failure to pay may result in suspension of services.

 

9. Prohibited Use - You agree not to:

 

  • Misrepresent your identity or eligibility
  • Use the service for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt unauthorized access to our systems
  • Record or distribute sessions without consent

 

Violation may result in termination of access and legal action.

 

10. Technology Requirements

You are responsible for maintaining the hardware, software, and internet connection necessary to access telehealth services. Marula LLC is not liable for service interruptions due to user-side technical issues.

 

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The latest version will always be posted on this page.

We follow Utah law. You must be physically located in Utah to receive services. Legal disputes will be handled in Utah courts.

 

4. Who Treats You

Licensed professionals only. You’ll be matched with a provider licensed in Utah.

 

5. Your Privacy

6. Your Consent

By using our services, you agree to receive care via telehealth. You can withdraw consent anytime by stopping use.

 

7. Prescriptions

We don’t prescribe medications directly. If needed, we’ll refer you to your primary care provider. All prescribing follows 2025 DEA and Ryan Haight Act rules.

 

8. Payment Info

We offer a sliding scale and help with Medicaid. Payment terms are explained during intake. Non-payment may pause services.

 

9. What’s Not Allowed

 

Please don’t:

  • Lie about your identity
  • Use our services illegally
  • Hack or misuse our systems
  • Record sessions without permission
  •  

Violations may lead to termination or legal action.

 

10. Tech You’ll Need

You’ll need a working device, internet, and secure browser. We’re not responsible for tech issues on your end.

 

11. Updates to Terms

We may change these Terms. If you keep using the service, you’re agreeing to the new version.
